Tim Wilson (he/him) is the program manager of the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's Farm at the Arb Apprenticeship and Growing Good urban teen garden internship. He is a farmer and biologist from Chicago who has worked with diverse urban and rural community leaders in sustainable farming since 2003. He started urban agriculture work at the Resource Center selling to high-end restaurants from the mobile City Farm. Current programs support new and emerging farmers selling to nutrition programs and community-access farmer's markets. Tim has two degrees from Sterling College in Vermont and did his graduate work examining the effect of plant nutrition on forest disease at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
