Lori is owner/operator of Roots Return Heritage Farm LLC in Carver, MN. The farm leases land and perennial fruit crops to new and emerging sustainable farmers. Continual cover-cropping is practiced for healthy soils. She is a native of MN, but lived in the Seattle area for almost 12 yrs attending WSU’s Small Farm Entrepreneur program while working at a CSA farm. Before that was a 17+ year corporate consulting career. She is an advisory board member serving on her local County Water Management Org, board of directors for MN Ag Water Quality Certification program (is a certified farm), and a Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) director. She is involved in MEP Water and Pollinator Cluster and Climate Land Leaders groups. The farm is also a supporter of the UMN Bee Lab and CFANS scholarships program.
